Still wondering what this great event looks like?
Well, see below for a variety of previous videos and photos, hopefully giving you a taste of the Wiltshire air, without having to endure the Plain winds.
Videos on YouTube
- The ‘drone guys’ from OCUAIR present ‘This is not just a marathon, this is the Imber Ultra Marathon’ film, shot throughout in 4K (2 mins – includes great aerial shot of the ‘German Village’)
- Trail runner Paul Coates gives his review from 2018 (4 mins)
- Ok, you might want to skip this one… Jacqueline Stott’s 25 minute review of the 2019 running during Storm Freya. Jacqueliene described it as “Beautiful, stunning and also a challenging course. Made more difficult being in the midst of an epic storm. At times I wanted to cry, I did scream out loud as the wind was pushing me backwards. Sound quality is not that great due to 60 mile an hour winds!!”
- In 2015 Graham Clarke tackled the Imber Ultra as the first of 20 races he was running for Action on Addiction (4 mins)
Photos
From the 2024 running we have 200 FREE photos uploaded, mainly by kind permission of The Rotary Club of Westbury roving photographer Julian Sandoe – ta Julian! Please feel free to use them / print them out etc. We’ve collected them together HERE, with albums for Before, During, Finishing and After. Enjoy 🥳
Below is an admittedly random selection of photos from across the earlier years… They do become colour once you click on them (honest guv).
We have many more but we fear it might be like a childhood trip to your Uncle’s hour long presentation of his 1983 holiday in Marbella (when yours was in Minehead…).
If you really want more, you can find a group pool of several thousand HERE and also 500 from 2019 HERE
